Active Farm Projects

Animal Shelters

Animals need shelter and we are working on providing a shelter and fenced in area that meets the needs of our goats and future animals. We have all of the fence posts, supplies, and scheduled a date to have an existing barn moved to the area the goats will be living. We are excited to see this area come to life and build some fun playgrounds for the goats to play on. We hope to have this completed by the end of May!

Trail Maintenance

When we purchased the property in September of 2024, there was a lot of overgrowth and you couldn't access the wooded property to enjoy. We spent the first fall into winter clearing trails and cutting down brush. We will begin to level out the trail path and place material down to keep the paths more stable.

Greenhouse + Sensory Garden

We have determined the best location for the sensory garden and greenhouse and are excited to begin to build the space. There will be a U-Pick flower garden, sensory garden to walk through and opportunities for children to plant their own seeds and plants to take home with them. We will also begin to use the U-Pick Flowers to give back to local nursing homes and allow them to make their own flower arrangements.
